The Story
Not farmed.
Not imported.
Not pretend.
John Wade started the same way most good things do — with a problem worth solving. As a wholesale seafood distributor deep in Florida's Gulf Coast trade, we began processing wild alligators during hunting season. The meat went to market. The skins, too good to waste, went to the tanner.
Named for two brothers and a nod to an American icon, John Wade is built on the belief that real materials, honestly sourced, speak for themselves. Every skin comes from a wild Florida alligator — harvested legally, handled carefully, and delivered to craftspeople who know the difference.
